Lynda Skinner
I was brought up on a farm in Mid-Canterbury and took up photography when I was in my twenties. I started taking family photography and realised that I loved capturing attractive images of families. I have been photographing weddings regularly since 2000 when I started advertising on CTV Good Living programme. I have photographed over 200 weddings to date mainly in and around Christchurch which I think is a very attractive city. We have glorious autumns, beach and harbour backdrops, the attractive porthills plus a myriad of attractive venues locally.
I have been married to my wonderful husband Alan for over 30 years and we have raised six fantastic children. We now have three beautiful daughters-in-law and four amazing grandchildren. I have learned many skills in the parenting role which I find very helpful in photographing the special occasion of a wedding. I like to bring a positive and enthusiastic presence to the occasion and assist the bride & groom in achieving the sort of images they will treasure for years to come.

My Wonderful Family!
My overall philosophy is to treat people how I would like to be treated with honour and respect and receiving excellent value. I like to work with the bride & groom to ascertain their requirements rather than just do it my way. People often comment on my warm & friendly manner.
After many years of using film, I have now changed to using my digital camera for weddings. I value the flexibility this affords me.
I have portfolios at my home and am able to be contacted
by email or phone.
